The Products Manager lets you create a database with all your products and services. You enter the name, a description, and the price you charge for the product or service. The software automatically assigns an "ID Number" to them, and you can add your own or the supplier's id as well.
With your products and services entered into your database you can fill out the item list in your documents (Invoices, etc) by typing in just a few letters in the name of a product or a few numbers in the Product ID and then select it from a list that instantly comes up. The more you type in the shorter the list will get, so it's always fast easy to find just what you're looking for.
We continue to go over every little detail to make sure everything works as it should.
This is both a very tedious and interesting process. Our "todo app" has really been a great tool to help manage this. It takes just a few seconds to add something and then get back to what we're working on. Early on we might add several "todos" to our list most every time we choose one to work on, so it can look like things are a mess as the list grows and grows but the process is actually very efficient because you focus on one issue at a time and move quickly to the next. We move items up or down on the list to prioritize it and can make changes to that in an instant so as we get things done the list starts shrinking fast and the app starts looking and performing like a fine tuned machine. It's pretty exciting to see it progress like this.

We started out with a bare bones Bootstrap design template to get the apps we wanted to make up and running and that worked out well because getting the main feature set built is the real heart of the work during development. Design work is like a paint job on a car. Great design work is realized in the "detail work" and there were a zillion little details we attended to when putting the finishing touches on our apps
The first thing you'll notice is the new colors. We've adjusted the colors to make things easier to read and we've spent a lot of time on countless small refinements that make the app more consistent and cleaner looking, and much easier to use.
We also added a feature to the Contacts app that lets you import contacts from "vCards". You'll see this new option in the main menu bar of the Contacts app. It really couldn't be easier to use. Just click the "Import vCard" tab in the main menu and then click the "Choose File" button to select the vcard you want to import.
We'll be adding more options to make it easy to import and export contact data soon and if you have a lot of contacts in a data format other than the vcard format let us know and we can probably create a custom importer for you for a reasonable charge.

We've now fully implemented "Service Workers" and have gotten rid of the old "App Cache" way of making apps run offline. This give you much more reliable "Offline" usage of the apps and provide both you and us a more reliable way to update the apps.
Fixed a lot of bugs and refined a lot of code over the past month. Add several small features and a few bigger ones like the new "Migrate Document" feature.

We've made the CherryPC apps completely free and now only charge for our "Data Services". This means you never have to worry about your "User Account" expiring and not being able to access your software or data. And we've made easier than ever to renew your Data Services whenever you're ready. And when you renew we add a year to your Data Services from the date they expire or the current date if they've already expired, so you always get a year of data services when you pay for them. And you can add more than one year if you want.

We've added a "Search" app that allows you to find pretty much anything you've made by entering a few words you remember about it. It's truly amazingly fast and powerful and really shows off just how good the new database technology we're using is.
We added a "Proposal" app to compliment the "Quote" and "Estimates" apps.
We also added a "Receipt" app.
